The Pencil Skirt!
Yaaay! I love the pencil skirt. It looks super formal almost no matter what you’re wearing up top! It also works well for colder weather because it’s not as loose and normally knee length so not as much air gets to your legs.
Whilst searching for a pencil skirt, there are 3 things to be wary of:
1) The form that you make. There is such a thing as too tight and too loose. If any of the following happens, it will look less formal. You want something that hugs your curves, but leaves you room to breathe.
2) If you bike a lot this may not be a appropriate. Super restrictions are applied, movement is not going to be easy in one of these.
3) Black is timeless. You could wear your black pencil skirt to any function and 10 years later (given that there are no extreme weight changes) I’m sure it’ll work out just fine still.
Paired with a pair of pointy toed shoes, I’m sure your office will welcome you still.
